About Our Associates - Rob Fryatt

 
Rob Fryatt has over 25 years of experience in markets “Beyond Agriculture” and is considered to be one of the most influential strategists within these industries. He is a regularly invited speaker at international conferences and contributor to the industry international media. Rob is acknowledged to have an extensive and unparalleled global network of industry contacts and his commercial insight and abilities are well recognized within the industry, both today and though many previous high profile positions.

Working to support the development of markets Beyond-Agriculture, Rob was for many years a member of the Board of the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) and appointed an Honorary Life Member in 2007. Rob has also been Director General of CEPA (The European Pest Management Industry Association) and currently chairs the European industry standards group CEN TC 404.  

Rob has written extensively on the strategic development and dynamic of pest management markets and for many years, wrote the “Beyond Agriculture” column for Agrow Magazine. He is a member of the editorial boards of both International Pest Control and Pest Magazine and a regular feature writer for other publications. 

Rob has extensive experience of the industry throughout the world and increasingly recognized within the industry as the “China Expert”. As well as his native English, Rob is able to operate in fluently in Spanish and Portuguese. In addition to his specialist skills, Rob is a qualified agronomist and has considerable experience of global Agricultural markets. 

Outside the industry, Rob has been a director of a Regional Chamber of Commerce and chaired the Sussex International Trade Forum. Until recently he was an independent member of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) Audience Council for England. Rob is proud to have been a “Gamesmaker” at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
