Octavius Hunt is Europe's largest smoke pesticide formulator supplying products on an international basis for pest control and agricultural markets. Latin America was identified as a prime region for growth during the company strategic review, with limited knowledge of this market OHL appointed Xenex Associates to achieve two main objectives:

Increase the profile of Octavius Hunt and their smoke product range
Locate potential distributors for smoke products

Xenex Associates were selected as they could demonstrate long established business connections with Latin America, Spanish-speaking consultants who understood the markets and culture in the regions targeted.

By attending local exhibitions, producing marketing literature and writing features for selected publications, the profile of OHL was increased significantly. Xenex pursued this further by locating potential distributors and aiding OHL in the negotiations for supply of product. OHL has gained new business from the activities of Xenex Associates, which has contributed to the increase of smoke sales in international markets.
